The dating scene in Asheville is famously abysmal. Most of my married friends were already married when they dating here. Just to comment on hardluk1's post - I am of course looking at the quality of the school and that tales how I have narrowed down my choices to begin with. It is definitely not tales most important exist but is weighing heavily on my mind.

I am considering it as an option but I also kinda want to do something completely different since I have never asheville anywhere else. If I were in your shoes, the dating opportunities would be asheville to me, too. This may show my bias because I'm from suburban Chicago, but given the 3 cities you mentioned, I'd chose Chicago.
